Her married name was Smith. When James Easter died, his will left a parcel of land in Franklin County Ga to his three daughters, Sophy, Lotty, and Tere. The Franklin Co., Georgia book of deeds for 1784 to 1826 lists the following transactions: 15 Nov 1806 - Joseph Howard, who had married Sophia, sold Sophia's one-third interest in the land (134 acres) to Jasper Smith, who had married Tere, for $ 75.00. The deed conveying the land from Joseph Howard to Jasper Smith was not recorded for two years. Franklin County, Georgia Book of Deeds 1806, page 18 The deed was recorded on 10 Aug 1808 on the occasion of Jasper Smith's selling both the 134 acres bought from Joseph Howard (Sophy's portion) and the 134 acres from Tere's inheritance to a Charles Ingram for a total of $100.00 Franklin County Georgia Book of Deeds 1808, page 20,21.

ITEM - I give and bequeath to my daughter, Frances Easter, one mare called Mad One and one box iron but my wife to have the use of them while she remains a widow.
ITEM - I give and bequeath to my daughter, Mary Easter, one small quilted trunk. To her I give the same as others.
