Lifelong Monroe Countian To Be Buried Today

ABERDEEN, Miss November 16, 1954 - Services for Mrs Myrtle Funderburk Easter, who died Tuesday at the Gilmore Sanatiorium (sic) in Amory, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 at the Splunge Methodist Church with the Rev. G.J. SHumaker officiating, assisted by the Rev. M,V, Owings. Burial will be in the Easter Cemetery, with Harrison Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs Easter, who was 81, was injured in a fall at her home in the Greenwood Springs community two weeks ago. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County and was the widow of J. Riley Easter who died 15 years ago. She was a Presbyterian.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. C.H. Ballard of Columbus, Mississippi; Mrs. K.L. Faulkner and 4 She was buried on 19 November 1954 at Main Easter Cemetery, Greenwood Springs, Monroe County, Mississippi.¹
