     Francis M. Blair joined the 43rd Mississippi Infantry at Athens, Mississippi to serve under Captain Gholson. This company was successively designated as the Mississippi Volunteers. The company surrendered at Vicksburg on July 4, 1863 and furloughed for 30 days from July 23, 1863.

     Joseph G. Blair was born circa 1827 at Monroe County, Mississippi.1 He was the son of Joseph Blair and Sarah Ann Gibson.1 Joseph G. Blair died on 17 August 1884 at Monroe County, Mississippi.2
     Joseph Blair joined the 43rd Mississippi Infantry at Athens, Mississippi to serve under Captain Gholson. This company was successively designated as the Mississippi Volunteers. The company surrendered at Vicksburg on July 4, 1863 and furloughed for 30 days from July 23, 1863. He was At the time of his death, Joseph G. Blair was listed as a member of SOule's Chapel Church.3

     Joseph Stacy Blair was born on 6 August 1860 at Monroe County, Mississippi. He was the son of Thomas J. Blair and Sarah M. Booker.1 Joseph Stacy Blair married Frances Elizabeth "Frank" Easter, daughter of Alson E. Easter and Amanda Maud Neeland, on 6 December 1883 at Monroe County, Mississippi.2 Joseph Stacy Blair died on 19 July 1890 at Monroe County, Mississippi, at age 29. He was buried on 22 July 1890 at Main Easter Cemetery, Monroe County, Mississippi.3
     Joseph Stacy Blair was Joseph Stacy (J.S.) was listed as a member of Soul's Chapel Church.4
